"I've known Naomi since she was in high school. Even at that early age she was passionate about public policy. She walked door-to-door with me tirelessly during my campaign and even changed her party affiliation to vote for me in the primary. She is fair, honest and passionate about helping Indiana move forward. But it’s her tenacity, and proven ability to bring people together that make her uniquely qualified to represent District 24."
- Constance Morella, former Maryland U.S. House Representative 1987 to 2003.
“I worked with Naomi as her immediate supervisor and County Extension Director for five years at Purdue University. During that time, I appreciated the competent, caring manner in which Naomi worked with volunteers and professional colleagues alike. She is a great listener, and was the catalyst to build and nurture successful teams and coalitions. She excels at fostering a sense of fairness and balance among people with differing viewpoints. Her skill as an educator will serve her constituents well. Naomi will work tirelessly for all the residents of District 24 and will be an able champion in the state legislature.”
- Ronald Hoyt, County Extension Director (Retired)
“Sometimes you meet someone with so much passion and integrity, that you realize how important and rare those people truly are. Naomi Bechtold encompasses these characteristics by her skill to lead by example and express her opinions with candor and empathy. Her ability to mobilize leaders across Indiana as a Purdue Extension Educator makes her uniquely qualified to understand and respond to her community's needs in District 24.”
- Kelsey Clayton, Manager, Indiana Assets & Opportunity Network
